It’s called Hotel Strudlhof, named for a local landmark that it’s right next to: the Strudlhof Stiege (staircase). The stairs, which include a two level fountain, are a good example of Viennese art/architecture, and a famous Austrian novel is named after them. The neighborhood is wonderful: convenient, quiet, and lovely to walk through. It was the perfect location for our single longest stop on the trip.
