The hotel here in Munich, the Hotel Restaurant Ritzi, is adorable. Each room has a different theme. Mine is Moroccan inspired (isn't it cute?)
Apparently this is a minor trend in German hotels: The Hip Hotel in Heidelberg does the same thing. John has informed me that The Settle Inn, between Omaha and Lincoln, also has themed rooms. We’re so cutting edge in Nebraska! Actually, the thing I like best about the Ritzi is that they left a tiny packet of bedtime snack gummi bears on the pillow.

I was about to say I thought my hotel in Munich from 25 yrs ago might have been the same one because I remember the "theme" rooms but maybe they're all like that.
