We visited two fabulous hotels. First was Petersberg, which sits on a hill high above the Rhine, and has fantastic views. It is very elegant and romantic, and used to be used by the German government to house visiting dignitaries. Then we checked out the brand-new King Kameha Hotel. It is very modern, and has great outdoor spaces, stunning furnishings, and even a digital koi pond.
Can you explain "digital koi pond"?
ReplyDeleteIt's in the last picture...it's an oval flat screen with an image of water, rocks, and koi that are swimming. If you touch it, the water ripples, and the fish swim away from you, like real fish would. Pretty cool.
